Countermeasures Against Resistance.
Our current antibiotic program is focused on the discovery and preclinical development of small molecules that interfere at multiple points in the flow of genetic information within bacteria. This approach will allow us to develop broadly active antibiotics against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Furthermore, we will be able to address the growing threat of bacterial antimicrobial resistance with our novel antibiotic pipeline.
